Micah Richmond Hyde (born December 31, 1990) is the security of American football for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He plays college football in Iowa and was designed by Green Bay Packers in the fifth round of the NFL Draft 2013.

Initial years
Hyde was born in Fostoria, Ohio, and attended Fostoria High School where she wrote three sports: baseball, basketball, and soccer. On the green court, he is the team captain during his sophomore, junior, and senior season with the team. As a junior, Hyde earned North Ohio's first team honor as a quarterback, defensive back, and place kicker. He is also referred to as a distinguished name as an audience. He is also crowned as a defensive team and quarterback in his senior year. He also earned basketball and baseball honors all the first team and averaged 22 points a game on basketball during his time there. During his career, he has 165 tackles, eight interceptions and seven defended passes as cornerbacks. As a quarterback, he has 549 rushing attempts for 3,443 yards and 46 goals and completes 606 of 997 passes for 7,864 yards and 65 touchdowns. Hyde solved 17 school records, including notes to score in season and career.
Hyde was also a prominent baseball player growing and winning the USSSA State Championship in 2003 as a member of the Findlay Explosion, a team that also included Aaron Craft.

College career
Hyde was recruited from high school and received scholarship offers from various schools including Iowa, Ball State, Bowling Green, Miami (OH), Ohio, and Toledo. He ranks as a two-threat dual-star quarterback by Rivals.com He ran a 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds, having averaged 3.2 points in Fostoria and scored 20 in ACT.
Hyde finally decided to play for the Iowa Hawkeyes and compete primarily on special teams and on defense held 11 players who will continue to be recruited into the NFL. He received his first playing time at college in a game against Northern Iowa and contributed a blow to the special teams. He also appeared against Michigan Wolverines and recorded two tackles.
During his second year, Hyde played a much broader role in defense and started all 13 games on the cornerback. He made his first major impact in a game against Ball State Cardinals, where he forced a missed and intercepted pass. Later in the season when Hawkeyes played Michigan State, Hyde scored his first goal laterally from teammate Tyler Sash at the end of the first quarter. He finished the season with a high career in handling with 82, 58 of them solo, with 4 interceptions. His appearance caused him to be called a venerable mention for the Big Ten team.
After the success of his second year, Hyde played between free security and cornerback during spring training and started the first two games safely. He moved back to the cornerback against Pittsburgh and has two interceptions, the latter winning the game for Hawkeyes as it allows them to run hours out. He finishes the year with 72 tackles (1.5 for loss), 3 interception, and self-imposed. He's called a respectable title for the Big Ten team.
In his final year with Hawkeyes, Hyde was named the first team of the All-Big Ten selection and also won the Tatum-Woodson Award, each year awarded to the best defender in the conference. He finished his career starting every game for three consecutive seasons. He completed his senior year with 78 tackles, 14 frozen operands, interception, three people forced to grope and two failed recovery.
Professional career
Hyde is one of 60 back defenders to attend the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana and perform all joint exercises. On March 25, 2013, Hyde attended Iowa Pro's Day and did a positional exercise. He tried to perform better in some combination exercises, but only able to decrease his time in the three cone exercises (6.67s). He is projected to be the sixth round pick by the NFL drafters and scouts. He also ranked 25 best cornerback prospects in the draft by DraftScout.com.
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers chose Hyde in the fifth round (159th overall) of the NFL Draft 2013. He was the 23th cornerback selected in 2013. It was speculated by design analysts and media members that his fall from the fifth round was partly due to his capture in the past (see Personal life ).
2013
On May 10, 2013, the Green Bay Packers signed Hyde for a four-year contract, $ 2,330,000 which includes a signing bonus of $ 178,108.
Throughout the training camp, Hyde competed to be a backup cornerback against Casey Hayward, Davon House, Jarrett Bush, and James Nixon. Head coach Mike McCarthy named Hyde the fifth cornerback in the Packers depth chart to start the regular season, behind Sam Shields, Tramon Williams, Casey Hayward and Davon House. He was also chosen to be a reserve driver and kicked back by the special team coordinator Shawn Slocum.
He made his regular season debut professionally in the Green Bay Packers' season opener in the San Francisco 49ers and recorded four combined tackles during their 34-28 defeat. Hyde recorded his first career in the vast Anquan Boldin receiver after receipt of nine yards in the first quarter. Hyde was promoted to the first-team nickelback after Casey Hayward aggravated a hamstring injury during their third pre-season game and was sidelined for the first seven regular-season games. On Sunday 5th, Hyde returned the first kick in his career to a two-yard drive before being blocked by Don Carey in the third quarter of the Packers 22-9 win against the Detroit Lions. On October 13, 2013, Hyde recorded seven highest tackle seasons and made his first career sack in quarterback Joe Flacco during the 19-17 victory at the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. On October 27, 2013, he made six combined tackles and returned a kick for a touchdown of 93 yards. during a 44-31 victory at Minnesota Vikings. His touch marked the first score of his career and occurred in the second quarter of a 53-yard shot by Jeff Locke. On 22 December 2013, Hyde started his first career and recorded six combined tackles during a 38-31 loss to Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday 16. He also returned five kicks for 167-yards during the game against the Steelers. Hyde finished the rookie season with 55 combined tackles (41 solos), two jumping passes, and one sack in 16 matches and three starts. As a returner, he finished the season with 22 back kicks (24.14 YPR) for 531 yards and 24 back punts for 296-yards (12.33 YPR) and goals.
The Green Bay Packers ended the season on the North NFC with an 8-7-1 record. On January 5, 2014, Hyde appeared in his first career playoff game and collected five combined tackles and deflection passes in a Packers loss of 23-20 to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Wild Card Game Card.
2014
During an organized team activity, Hyde starts turning to free security. Head coach Mike McCarthy chose to change his position because the Packers were less in safety after the departure of M. D. Jennings to the Chicago Bears at free agent. Throughout the training camp, Hyde competed against the first round rookie choosing Ha Ha Clinton-Dix for a job as a free early salvation. Defensive coordinator Dom Capers named Hyde as a free safety start to start the regular season, as opposed to strong safety, Morgan Burnett. He also remains a spare kick and punt for this season.
He started the Green Bay Packers season opener at the Seattle Seahawks and made five combined tackles in their 36-16 defeat. On October 26, 2014, Hyde recorded the top seven tackles during the losing season for 44-23 at the New Orleans Saints on Sunday 8. On Sunday 10th, Hyde deflected two tracks of two seasons, a tackle, and his first career interruption in victory 55-14 Packers against the Chicago Bears. His interception occurred in the first quarter of a pass by quarterback Jay Cutler and was originally intended for the tight end of Martellus Bennett. On November 16, 2014, Hyde collected four single tackles, disbanded the operand, and retaliated with Donnie Jones for a 95-yard touchdown during a 53-20 win against the Philadelphia Eagles. On November 23, 2014, he made four single tackles, deflected passes, sacks, and intercepted Teddy Bridgewater's bait while winning 24-21 at Minnesota Vikings. He finished the season with 59 combined tackles (45 solos), seven deflection passes, two interception, and one sack in 16 games and 12 starts. Hyde also has 14 back punts for 221 yards and two goals in 2014.
The Green Bay Packers finished first in their division with a 12-4 record and went on to beat Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wildcard Game. On January 18, 2015, Hyde made his first start in a playoff game and made a tackle during a 28-22 defeat at the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC division round.
2015
During the training camp, Hyde competes against Casey Hayward to become the Packers early nickelback. It was given a free backup security name, behind HaHa-Clinton-Dix, and an early nickelback to start the regular season.
He started with strong security in the opening season and for four other matches (Sunday 3-6) after Morgan Burnett suffered a calf injury. On October 18, 2015, Hyde recorded the highest nine tackles of the season and passed a deflection during a 27-20 win against the San Diego Fans. Hyde is off for the Packers' Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears due to a hip injury. He finished the 2015 season with 55 combined tackles (51 solos), six pass jumps, three interception, and one sack in 15 matches and seven starts. Hyde also returned eight kicks for 187 yards and 27 punts for 157 yards.
Green Bay Packers took second place at NFC North with a 10-6 record. On January 10, 2016, Hyde made eight combined tackles and deflections pass in a Packers 35-18 victory at the Washington Redskins in the NFC Wildcard Game. The Packers were eliminated from the playoffs after losing 26-20 at the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Divisional Round the following week.

Head coach Mike McCarthy named Hyde No 1 nickelback and a strong security reserve, behind Morgan Burnett, to start the 2016 regular season.
On Sunday 3rd, he started with strong security after Morgan Burnett was declared inactive due to a groin injury. Instead, Hyde recorded a combined 11 tackle high season (eight solos) for 34-27 losses for the Detroit Lions. On December 18, 2016, Hyde recorded three high season pass leaps, three single tackles, and interrupted a pass by Jay Cutler in a Packers 30-27 win at the Chicago Bears. He finished the 2016 season with 58 combined tackles (47 solos), nine deflections passing through, three interception, and one sack in 16 games and 11 starts. He received an overall score of 73.9 from Pro Football Focus and ranked 53rd among quality safeties.
The Green Bay Packers finished above the North NFC with a 10-6 record. On January 8, 2017, Hyde made seven combined tackles and deflected passes during a 36-13 win against the New York Giants in the NFC Wildcard Game. The following week, he recorded four single tackles, two track deflections, and intercepted a pass by Dak Prescott during a 34-31 victory against the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC division round. The Green Bay Packers were eliminated after losing 44-21 from the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship Game.
2017
After the 2016 season, Hyde became an unlimited free agent. The Packers general manager, Ted Thompson, ignored Hyde's contract offer and later apologized for not making the transaction. He is referred to as one of the most frequently overlooked free agents on the market and is named one of the top free sleepers. Reported by NFL analyst Ian Rapoport that Hyde has received two strong offers.
Buffalo Bills
On March 9, 2017, Buffalo Bills signed Hyde for a five-year, $ 30.50 million contract that includes a $ 14 million guarantee and a $ 8 million signing bonus. Head coach Sean McDermott named Hyde started a strong safety to start the regular season, along with free security Jordan Poyer.

On December 3, 2017, he collected 12 high-speed career tackles (ten solos) and deflected a 23-3 pass loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday 13. On December 19, 2017, it was announced that Hyde was voted for 2018 Pro Bowl, marking the first time he received the honor. He finished his first season with Buffalo Bills with 82 combined tackles (65 solos), 13 graduating passes, and five interception in 16 matches and 16 starts. He sets a new high career in all four categories of statistics. Pro Football Focus gives Hyde a total score of 86.2, ranked 14th among all quality safeties by 2017. Hyde and Poyer are one of the highest graded safety duo in 2017 and are considered the best tandem in the league by many analysts and NFL media members.
Buffalo Bills took second place in AFC East with a 9-7 record and received a wild card. On January 7, 2018, Hyde recorded four single tiles before exiting the 10-3 Bills loss at Jacksonville Jaguars in the fourth quarter after suffering a concussion.

Hyde has a brother named Marcus who plays safe for the Michigan State football team from 2006-2010.
On October 5, 2012, Hyde was arrested for public poisoning and disruption by official action by the Iowa City Police Department. It was reported that Hyde and a group of 15 people refused to leave Old Capitol Brew Works after the staff asked several times around closing. After the Iowa City Police arrived, Hyde and a group of friends were shown by the staff as some of the subjects involved in the disorder. The police confronted the group, but their orders to stop and extinguish the lights were ignored by the group and they all escaped on foot. Hyde was arrested two blocks away and police claimed he had red eyes and many signs of damage. He was arrested and lodged in Johnson County Prison until he was tied at 11 am. He appeared in court two days later and pleaded guilty for harassing an official and paying a $ 397.50 fine. He pleaded not guilty to public accusations of poisoning and was given the date of a new trial.
On December 9, 2012, Hyde was charged with irregular behavior after Iowa City Police arrived at his apartment building due to complaints from a loud party on the top floor of the building. He was not arrested, but was quoted for irregular behavior violation and was given a courtdate.
